From September 22 to 25, ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026 will take place at CAEx in Tashkent, bringing together the technology and startup ecosystem for four days of events, discussions, competitions, and international networking.
This year, ICT Week will place a special focus on technology entrepreneurship, venture capital, and international expansion. Local and international founders, venture funds, angel investors, representatives of global technology companies, and industry experts will come together in one place.
The program will feature several specialized events where startup teams can showcase their projects, explore new opportunities, and build valuable connections. At the same time, investors will have the opportunity to discover emerging companies, promising solutions, and potential partners.
For participants across the ecosystem, ICT Week will serve as a platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and exploring the next stage of Uzbekistan and the wider region’s technology development.
Startup & Venture Summit — Kicking Off the Startup Program
On September 22, the Startup & Venture Summit will open ICT Week’s startup program, bringing together founders, investors, and startup ecosystem representatives from around the world.
The program will focus on the next stage of the region’s venture market development, including the growth of local startups, access to capital, international expansion, and the role of government and private investors in building the ecosystem.
Technology company founders, representatives of venture capital funds, and leaders of organizations working with innovative businesses will take the stage throughout the Summit.
As the opening event of the startup program, the Summit will establish many of the key themes that will continue throughout ICT Week.
Enterprise Uzbekistan Summit — A New Technology Jurisdiction for International Business
On September 23, the Enterprise Uzbekistan Summit will focus on Uzbekistan’s development as a new technology jurisdiction.
Discussions will cover legal certainty, institutional infrastructure, and the conditions required to attract international technology companies and investment.
The program will include presentations from Enterprise Uzbekistan representatives, keynotes from EY and BDO, a fireside chat featuring IT Park Uzbekistan and Enterprise Uzbekistan, and a panel discussion titled “Rethinking Jurisdictions for the Global Technology Economy.”
Participants will explore why international companies are choosing Uzbekistan as a place to do business, how responsibilities are distributed among the ecosystem’s key institutions, and which regulatory conditions could support further growth of the country’s technology economy.
Global Startup Ecosystem Awards by StartupBlink
Also on September 23, the Global Startup Ecosystem Awards, organized by StartupBlink together with IT Park Uzbekistan, will recognize cities, countries, and regions that have achieved strong results in StartupBlink’s global rankings.
The awards ceremony will be followed by the Best Practices in Startup Ecosystem Development panel discussion.
Representatives from leading startup ecosystems will discuss growth drivers, priorities for allocating resources, and practices that emerging technology markets can adopt as they develop their own ecosystems.
Startup World Cup — From Tashkent to San Francisco
One of the major startup events of the week will be the regional final of the Startup World Cup, taking place on September 24.
Top startups will pitch live in front of an international jury and venture partners. The regional winner will have the opportunity to advance to the global Startup World Cup in San Francisco, where finalists from around the world will compete for a $1 million investment prize.
Beyond competing for a place in the global final, participating startups will have an opportunity to test their pitches in front of international experts, receive feedback, and showcase their products to the venture community.
AI Native: Ideas to Innovation — Turning AI Ideas Into Business Solutions
Also on September 24, AI Native: Ideas to Innovation will bring together teams and professionals working across artificial intelligence.
The program will focus on transforming AI ideas into working technology products and business solutions, covering topics including LLMs, cloud technologies, multilingual AI, robotics, AI agents, and business automation.
Special attention will also be given to opportunities for young professionals, including AI education, hackathons, and career pathways.
For AI startups, the event will offer an opportunity to explore which technology trends are moving beyond experimentation and becoming real products and commercially viable solutions.
AWS Community Day Uzbekistan — Technologies for Scaling Products
On September 25, AWS Community Day Uzbekistan will focus on AWS technologies, cloud solutions, and modern technology trends.
These areas become increasingly important as technology companies scale. Growing startups must address infrastructure, performance, reliability, and product scalability as their user bases expand.
AWS Community Day will therefore add a technical perspective to ICT Week’s investment and entrepreneurship agenda, focusing on the infrastructure required to support company growth.
Ignyte AI Challenge — AI Startups Take the Stage
Another event scheduled for September 25 is the Ignyte AI Challenge, where startup teams will pitch their AI solutions to international experts.
The competition will give ICT Week participants an opportunity to discover emerging AI projects, see which products are currently being developed, and hear how founders present their solutions to a professional audience.
TAQDIMOT — Startup Show & Pitch Battle
ICT Week’s startup program will conclude on September 25 with TAQDIMOT (Startup Show & Pitch Battle).
Promising technology projects will take the stage for short presentations and a pitch battle, giving founders another opportunity to showcase their products to a broad professional audience and test how clearly they can communicate the value of their solutions.
TAQDIMOT will serve as the final startup-focused event of ICT Week’s four-day program.
Beyond Startups: What Else Is Happening at ICT Week 2026?
Startups and venture capital represent only one part of ICT Week’s broader agenda.
The program will also feature the AI Forum, Fintech Forum, Tech & Service Outsourcing Conference, Uzbek–Japan Digital Community Forum, OTS Technology Forum, GameGap: GameDev Conference, Sabriya: Women in Digital Economy, and Uzbekistan–Middle East Tech Summit.
