Egypt-based convenience platform Breadfast has officially launched Breadfast Food, expanding its offering into restaurant delivery as it moves closer to becoming an all-in-one platform for consumers’ everyday needs.
The launch follows a beta period that the company says generated strong customer adoption. Breadfast Food allows users to discover and order from a curated selection of restaurants directly through the existing Breadfast app, alongside the platform’s grocery, bakery, coffee and pharmacy offerings.
The expansion marks another step in Breadfast’s evolution from an online grocery and bakery business into a broader everyday convenience ecosystem. The new restaurant delivery service builds on the company’s existing technology infrastructure, logistics network and supply-chain capabilities, allowing Breadfast to extend its delivery operations into a new category without requiring customers to use a separate application.
Breadfast Food will feature local restaurants as well as exclusive daily offers and discounts. For restaurant partners, the service provides access to Breadfast’s existing customer base and delivery infrastructure, creating an additional channel to reach consumers and grow their businesses.
According to Muhammad Habib, Co-Founder and COO of Breadfast, the move reflects the way customers increasingly view their everyday needs as part of a single convenience experience rather than separate services.
“Our customers don’t think about groceries, meals, coffee, or personal care as separate services.”
Habib said Breadfast intends to continue adding everyday services while expanding its presence across Egypt.
The company also expects the expansion of Breadfast Food to create hundreds of new delivery rider jobs as the service scales. Breadfast plans to grow its restaurant partner network and progressively introduce Breadfast Food across additional Egyptian governorates.
The launch strengthens Breadfast’s ambition to position itself as Egypt’s leading everyday convenience platform, bringing multiple high-frequency consumer services together within a single digital ecosystem.
