At the U.S.–Saudi Investment Forum in Washington, D.C., HUMAIN — a Public Investment Fund (PIF) company specializing in full-stack artificial intelligence solutions — announced a landmark framework agreement with xAI, the frontier AI company founded by Elon Musk.

The partnership marks one of the most significant U.S.–Saudi collaborations in emerging technology, laying the foundation for the Kingdom’s next-generation AI compute infrastructure and enabling the nationwide deployment of xAI’s Grok models to support Saudi Arabia’s ambition to become “the world’s most AI-enabled nation.”

Building One of the World’s Largest AI Compute Hubs

Under the agreement, HUMAIN and xAI will jointly design, build, and operate a new network of world-class, low-cost GPU data centers across Saudi Arabia. The initiative will be anchored by a flagship 500 MW+ hyperscale facility, set to become one of the most advanced AI compute hubs globally.

The new supercomputing complex will complement xAI’s existing U.S.-based superclusters and represents the first major AI compute deployment by xAI outside the United States.

The infrastructure will serve as a critical platform for:

  • Training frontier AI models
  • Large-scale inference
  • Compute optimization
  • Development of next-generation autonomous systems

This initiative significantly expands HUMAIN’s mission to deliver globally competitive AI infrastructure across the full stack — from compute and data to models and applied solutions.

Uniting HUMAIN’s Infrastructure Strength With xAI’s Frontier Model Capabilities

The collaboration is built on two complementary strengths:

  • HUMAIN: low-cost, scalable AI infrastructure, data center construction, and operational capabilities
  • xAI: frontier AI systems, advanced model training, and large-scale compute optimization

Together, both organizations aim to establish a world-class AI foundation capable of supporting global-scale innovation while accelerating Saudi Arabia’s broader national AI agenda.

Deploying Grok Across the Kingdom

Beyond infrastructure, the partnership includes the nationwide deployment of xAI’s Grok models, including deep integration into HUMAIN ONE, the company’s agent platform.

This rollout will unlock:

  • Real-time, countrywide AI intelligence
  • Autonomous workflows for government and enterprise
  • Next-generation AI copilots
  • National-scale decision-making capabilities

The move establishes a unified AI layer that can be adopted by both public and private sectors — enabling advanced digital transformation across the Kingdom.

Leadership Reactions

Elon Musk, Founder and CEO of xAI, emphasized the transformative potential of the partnership:

“The future of intelligence will be engineered through massive and efficient compute combined with the most advanced AI models. HUMAIN’s capabilities enable us to build that future faster in Saudi Arabia. This collaboration represents the first-of-its-kind partnership to deploy xAI’s Grok across an entire country.”

Tareq Amin, CEO of HUMAIN, highlighted the scale and global significance:

“Together with xAI, we are creating scale that few others can match, speed that redefines what is possible, and compute that will shape the world’s most advanced technologies.”

A Major Step Toward a National AI Ecosystem

The partnership between HUMAIN and xAI marks a historic milestone for the Kingdom’s AI ambitions. By combining world-leading compute infrastructure with frontier AI models, the collaboration aims to accelerate responsible innovation and create a global benchmark for national-scale AI deployment.

The initiative reinforces Saudi Arabia’s vision to lead the next era of digital transformation — and positions the Kingdom at the center of the world’s evolving AI landscape.
