Saudi-focused wealth creation platform Vennre has secured SAR 36 million ($9.6 million) in a Pre-Series A funding round, reinforcing growing investor confidence in platforms reshaping access to private markets across the MENA region.
The round was co-led by Vision Ventures and anb seed Fund, with participation from Sanabil 500, Ace & Co, Plus VC, and a group of strategic angel investors spanning private banking, technology, and entrepreneurship.
Targeting the HENRY Opportunity
Vennre is purpose-built for HENRYs (High Earners, Not Rich Yet)—a fast-growing segment of professionals who generate strong income but lack access to institutional-grade private investments. By bypassing traditional gatekeepers, the platform offers transparent, Shariah-compliant exposure to private market opportunities historically reserved for institutions and ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
Founded by Ziad Mabsout, Anas Halabi, and Abdulrahman AlMalik, the company has already demonstrated meaningful traction. Vennre recently surpassed $40 million in transaction volume and appointed Dr. Ibrahim AlMojel as Chairman of its Saudi board—two milestones underscoring growing investor trust and operational maturity.
Building Long-Term Wealth, Not One-Off Deals
Commenting on the raise, CEO and Co-Founder Ziad Mabsout said the funding represents more than capital:
“A generation of ambitious professionals across the region has earned success but hasn’t been given the tools to compound it. This round is a clear endorsement that the HENRY segment is ready for a better wealth-building experience—one focused on discipline, trust, and long-term alignment.”
From the investor side, Khalid S. Alghamdi, CEO of anb capital, highlighted the broader market gap Vennre is addressing, noting that while private markets globally exceed $14 trillion in assets, individual investors still account for less than 5% of participation.
Meanwhile, Kais Al-Essa, Founding Partner and CEO of Vision Ventures, emphasized the platform’s role in democratizing access to real estate, private equity, venture capital, and private credit, aligning closely with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s accelerating fintech momentum.
What’s Next
Vennre plans to use the new capital to expand its client base, roll out new platform features, and deepen its Saudi footprint, capitalizing on ongoing financial sector liberalization and rising appetite for alternative investments across the GCC.
