Valu Jordan Expands BNPL Reach Through Partnership with MEPS and PayTabs

Jordan’s digital payments ecosystem is set to gain a major boost as Valu Jordan partners with MEPS and PayTabs to bring Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) services to both in-store and online merchants across the Kingdom.

The strategic collaboration will enable merchants connected to Jordan’s national payments infrastructure and payment orchestration networks to offer Valu’s flexible financing solutions directly at checkout, creating a more seamless consumer payment experience.

Under the agreement, merchants operating within MEPS’ extensive payment network will be able to activate Valu’s BNPL service on compatible point-of-sale terminals without requiring additional hardware or complex integrations. Customers shopping in-store can complete transactions through the Valu app by scanning a QR code at checkout, allowing them to access installment-based payment plans instantly.

The partnership also extends to e-commerce merchants using PayTabs’ payment orchestration platform. Online retailers will be able to integrate Valu as a payment option, giving consumers access to financing plans directly during the checkout process while minimizing technical implementation requirements for merchants.

The move significantly expands the reach of Valu Jordan, which officially launched operations in the country in May 2026 after receiving approval from the Central Bank of Jordan.

For merchants, the integration offers an additional payment method aimed at increasing purchasing power and improving customer conversion rates. Consumers, meanwhile, gain access to flexible financing options aligned with their approved credit limits through a fully digital experience.

The collaboration leverages the strengths of all three companies. MEPS operates Jordan’s National Switching system, connecting more than 1,400 ATMs and thousands of POS terminals across the country, while PayTabs provides payment orchestration infrastructure used by merchants across the MENA region.

Beyond expanding BNPL adoption, the partnership reflects broader efforts to accelerate financial inclusion and digital transformation within Jordan’s financial services sector. By combining financing, payment infrastructure, and merchant connectivity, the companies aim to make modern payment solutions more accessible to businesses and consumers alike.

Valu, one of the MENA region’s leading fintech companies, entered the Jordanian market with BNPL offerings that allow consumers to finance purchases for up to 60 months through a growing merchant network. The company operates in Jordan under a Specialized Finance License issued by the Central Bank of Jordan.

The partnership marks another milestone in the rapid evolution of Jordan’s fintech landscape, where demand for digital payments, embedded finance, and alternative consumer financing solutions continues to grow.
