Türkiye-based mobile gaming studio Spektra Games has secured a new investment round led by APY Ventures through its Yeni Nesil Teknoloji and İvedik venture capital funds. The funding will support the global expansion of the studio’s flagship title, Highway Racer Pro, and further strengthen its scalable game development infrastructure.
APY Ventures participated as the sole investor in the round, joining an existing investor base that includes prominent gaming-focused funds such as Ludus Ventures and The Games Fund.
Founded in 2020 by Kadir Danışman, Yusuf Demir, and Doğukan Şen, Spektra Games has established itself as one of Türkiye’s leading mobile racing game developers. The studio has surpassed 100 million downloads across its portfolio and continues to focus exclusively on the racing genre, targeting global audiences.
Its flagship title, Highway Racer Pro, has emerged as a standout success, becoming the most downloaded racing game on the U.S. App Store following its launch. The game combines high-production visuals, progression-driven gameplay, community engagement, live operations, and performance marketing strategies to drive sustainable growth.
Rather than treating racing as a single category, Spektra Games approaches the market as a collection of distinct player segments and sub-genres. The company believes this strategy can be replicated across multiple racing verticals, enabling the creation of a broader portfolio of globally competitive titles.
The newly secured capital follows the company’s recently announced $10 million user acquisition funding initiative, providing additional resources to scale player growth and reinforce Highway Racer Pro‘s leadership position in the category.
