Ziina Introduces Violet: Payments Meet Daily Life

Ziina has unveiled Ziina Violet, a new lifestyle membership that signals its shift from a payments-first app into an all-in-one daily companion for life in the UAE.
The launch brings together everyday lifestyle perks from leading local and global brands—while introducing zero currency fees on international spending—positioning Ziina at the intersection of fintech, loyalty, and lifestyle.

Built around how people in the UAE already live, Ziina Violet delivers recurring, high-usage benefits across food, retail, mobility, fitness, and work. Members gain access to curated offers from popular partners including SALT, Ounass, ClassPass, Deliveroo, CAFU, Yango Group, Bateel El’an, Washmen, Letswork, Bake My Day, and NordVPN.

A key differentiator of Violet is zero foreign currency fees on Ziina Card transactions, whether shopping online or traveling abroad. At a time when FX markups quietly inflate global purchases, Violet allows users to spend in any currency at the true exchange rate. Members also receive priority support and a distinctive Violet-designed Ziina Card, powered by Visa.

Priced at AED 100 per month, the membership claims to deliver more than AED 850 in monthly value, combining savings, benefits, and partner rewards into a single, easy-to-manage experience.

The launch comes as the UAE’s loyalty and rewards market continues to grow, yet faces increasing consumer fatigue from fragmented and hard-to-redeem programmes. With a median population age of 32.8 and mobile-first purchasing habits now mainstream, Ziina is betting on simplicity, relevance, and daily usability as the next evolution of consumer fintech.

“Ziina Violet brings together the UAE’s most loved brands into one beautifully simple experience,” said Faisal Toukan, Co-Founder and CEO of Ziina. “This is the next chapter of our vision—one membership, one card, and one unified ecosystem that removes friction from money and elevates everyday life.”

Partners echo that positioning. Cate Donovan, VP of ClassPass Corporate UK, noted that Violet aligns with ClassPass’ mission by making it easier for users to stay active while unlocking real value through a single, unified membership.

Founded in 2020 by Faisal Toukan, Sarah Toukan, and Talal Toukan, Ziina is a UAE-licensed fintech offering instant transfers, payment links, QR payments, Tap to Pay, and the Ziina Card via Apple Pay and Google Pay. Licensed by the Central Bank of the UAE, the company serves more than 260,000 consumers and businesses, with a focus on transparency and zero hidden fees.

Ziina Violet is now available to all Ziina users across the UAE, with new features and partnerships expected to roll out over time.
