Fonus Kids, an Uzbek edtech startup focused on early childhood digital learning, has secured $55,000 in fresh funding from local venture capital firms Aloqa Ventures and Yoshlar Ventures.

The investment round includes $20,000 from Aloqa Ventures and $35,000 from Yoshlar Ventures, marking another milestone for the startup, which is also part of the IT Park Ventures portfolio.

Fonus Kids is building a digital platform designed specifically for children aged 2 to 7, combining educational and entertainment content within a safe and age-appropriate environment. The platform aims to help parents access trusted learning resources while providing young children with engaging digital experiences tailored to their developmental needs.

The startup has gained significant traction over the past two years, earning recognition both locally and internationally. In 2025, Fonus Kids won the Startup Pitch Competition at GSMA M360 Eurasia, highlighting its potential among some of the region’s most promising technology startups.

Its momentum continued in 2026 when the company was named the winner of the Hult Prize National Final in Uzbekistan, held at the Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT). The achievement secured the startup a place in the global accelerator stage of the prestigious competition, where it will compete for a $1 million prize to support its international growth ambitions.

According to the company, the newly raised capital will be used to strengthen its technological infrastructure, expand its content offerings, improve user experience, and accelerate customer acquisition efforts.

The investment reflects growing investor interest in startups that combine technology with social impact, particularly in the education sector. For IT Park Ventures, the deal represents another validation of its mission to support scalable startups emerging from Uzbekistan’s rapidly evolving innovation ecosystem.

As Central Asia’s startup ecosystem continues to mature, Fonus Kids is positioning itself as one of the region’s rising edtech players, leveraging technology to make high-quality early childhood education more accessible for families across the region.
