Saudi Arabia-based game development studio Majestic Mind Games has raised $1.45 million in a funding round co-led by Merak Capital and Impact46, as the company looks to develop original gaming intellectual property for international markets.
Founded in Jeddah by Lujain Albukhari and Majed Anbar, Majestic Mind Games develops original video games primarily for PC, with selected titles also being expanded to console and mobile platforms. Its core development team includes lead artist Samaher Bantan and game programmer Mohammed Baeshen.
The studio focuses on building entertainment-driven games that also encourage curiosity, creativity and independent thinking, combining distinctive concepts with ambitions to reach players beyond the Saudi market. Majestic Mind Games has previously received backing from NEOM, adding to the growing institutional support behind the Kingdom’s emerging game development ecosystem.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate the development of new intellectual property and strengthen the studio’s ability to produce commercially competitive titles for global audiences.
The investment comes as Saudi Arabia continues to position gaming as an important part of its rapidly expanding digital entertainment economy. While much of the Kingdom’s gaming activity has historically centered around investment, esports and publishing, a new generation of Saudi studios is increasingly focused on creating and owning original intellectual property.
For Merak Capital and Impact46, Majestic Mind Games represents that shift toward locally developed content with international potential. The investors highlighted the founding team’s combination of creative originality, commercial discipline and long-term execution capabilities as key factors behind their decision to back the company.
With the new funding, Majestic Mind Games aims to establish itself among the Saudi studios capable of taking locally created games to players around the world.
