Saudi construction technology startup Fitting has raised $1.1 million in its second Seed funding round, bringing on board a strategic investor from the contracting and real estate development sector as the company looks to expand its footprint across the Kingdom.
The fresh capital will be used to accelerate Fitting’s field expansion, strengthen its technology infrastructure, and scale its operational and technical capabilities as demand for digital construction solutions grows across Saudi Arabia.
Founded by Mohammed Al-Mubayed, Fitting is building a digital platform focused on automating and digitizing construction supply chains. Its technology is designed to streamline procurement and improve coordination between suppliers, contractors, and real estate developers—an increasingly complex challenge as the Kingdom delivers a growing pipeline of large-scale real estate and infrastructure projects.
Digitizing a Growing Construction Market
Saudi Arabia’s construction sector is undergoing rapid transformation, fueled by major infrastructure investments, real estate developments, and projects connected to the country’s broader economic diversification agenda.
As projects grow in size and complexity, construction companies are increasingly looking for technology that can improve procurement, resource management, supply chain visibility, and operational efficiency.
Fitting is targeting this opportunity by creating digital infrastructure that connects key participants across the construction supply chain and helps companies manage procurement and related workflows more efficiently.
The participation of an investor with direct experience in contracting and real estate development could also provide Fitting with more than capital. The company expects the strategic partnership to bring industry expertise, market insight, and a closer understanding of the operational challenges faced by its customers.
“Closing our second investment round, valued at $1.1 million, represents an important milestone in Fitting’s journey and supports our plans to accelerate our expansion and strengthen our technological and operational capabilities,” said Mohammed Al-Mubayed, Founder and CEO of Fitting.
“We believe that the digitization of supply chains has become a key factor in improving the efficiency of the construction sector.”
Expansion Across Saudi Arabia
With the new funding, Fitting plans to expand across key Saudi markets while continuing to invest in its technology and operational capacity.
The company is positioning itself at the intersection of two major trends reshaping the Kingdom: the continued expansion of construction and real estate activity and the accelerating adoption of digital technologies across traditionally offline industries.
Beyond commercial expansion, Fitting also plans to invest in Saudi talent by creating employment and training opportunities for young professionals. The company says this approach supports broader Saudi Vision 2030 objectives around human capital development, innovation, digital transformation, and the participation of national talent in emerging industries.
Why It Matters
Construction technology is becoming an increasingly important part of Saudi Arabia’s startup landscape.
The Kingdom’s enormous pipeline of infrastructure and real estate projects is creating opportunities not only for developers and contractors, but also for startups building the digital layer behind the industry—from procurement and supply chain management to project management, payments, logistics, and data.
Fitting’s latest round reflects this shift. Rather than simply digitizing individual construction processes, the company is targeting the fragmented relationships between suppliers, contractors, and developers, where inefficiencies can become increasingly costly as projects scale.
With fresh capital and a strategic industry investor on board, Fitting is now looking to turn that opportunity into a broader construction supply chain platform as Saudi Arabia’s built environment continues to expand.
