Longevium to open AI-powered longevity research lab in Dubai after $7 million raise

Dubai-based longevity healthcare company Longevium has raised $7 million in its first funding round and begun construction of an AI-powered Longevity Research Laboratory at Dubai Science Park, as it seeks to accelerate the development of preventive healthcare technologies and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global hub for longevity medicine.

Scheduled to open in the fourth quarter of 2026, the Longevity AI Research Laboratory will operate as a dedicated research and development centre rather than a clinical facility. The laboratory will integrate artificial intelligence, biomedical research, and clinical expertise to develop technologies capable of predicting health risks, measuring biological ageing, and extending healthy lifespans.

The project aligns with Dubai’s broader strategy to advance longevity science through the recently established Dubai Longevity Authority, while reinforcing the emirate’s focus on healthcare innovation and preventive medicine.

The newly secured funding will finance the establishment of the laboratory and support research into next-generation diagnostics, longevity technologies, and clinical research programmes. Key areas of focus include AI-powered digital twins that enable physicians to simulate personalised treatment protocols before clinical application, alongside regenerative medicine, tissue engineering, and advanced cell therapies aimed at restoring organ function.

The laboratory will also explore robotic diagnostic technologies, including swallowable imaging capsules, AI-powered skin cancer scanners, and smart contact lenses capable of monitoring health through tear-fluid analysis. Another research priority will be noble gas therapy, investigating the therapeutic potential of xenon, argon, helium, and krypton for applications ranging from organ protection and stress-related conditions to neurodegenerative diseases.
