Early-stage technology investor e2vc has launched NextGen, Türkiye’s first entrepreneurship accelerator designed specifically for high school students. The program aims to introduce startup culture at a much earlier age by giving young founders hands-on experience, capital support, and direct access to the tech ecosystem.
As part of the program, each selected high school team will receive a $1,000 grant, while the winning team at Demo Day will be awarded $10,000 in cash.
e2vc’s portfolio includes five global unicorns, among them fal.ai, Insider, BillionToOne, and Carbon Health. To date, startups backed by e2vc have generated over $2 billion in export revenue and created more than 3,000 jobs globally. With NextGen, the firm is extending this impact to the high school level.
Building Startups Before Graduation
NextGen will bring together students selected from Türkiye’s leading high schools, enabling young entrepreneurs to develop their own startup ideas and engage directly with founders, investors, and operators from the ecosystem—while still in school.
Throughout the summer, participants will work one-on-one with the e2vc team, learning the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including:
- Product development
- Team formation
- User and customer discovery
- Thinking from an investor’s perspective
Students will work both at e2vc’s offices and through a series of workshops and panels led by mentors and industry experts. Program partners include leading technology companies and founders such as fal.ai, Ubicloud, Midas, Insider, and Mobile Action.
Six Weeks, Hybrid Format, Live Demo Day
The accelerator will run for six weeks in a hybrid format during July and August, culminating in a physical Demo Day in September. At Demo Day, student teams will pitch their startups in front of investors, entrepreneurs, and key ecosystem stakeholders.
e2vc has previously observed the long-term impact of supporting founders who start young, having backed early-stage teams such as PatientDesk, Caretta, and Luron. With NextGen, the firm aims to open this opportunity to a much broader group of students.
“We Want to Empower Founders from Day One”
Sharing the vision behind the program, the e2vc team stated:
“We’ve seen firsthand how much founders can achieve when they gain access to the right resources and role models at a young age. With NextGen, we’re offering high school students more than inspiration—we’re providing a strong mentor network, hands-on workshops, and the product and infrastructure support they need to build real startups. Our goal is to empower the next generation of founders from Türkiye at the very beginning of their journey.”
With NextGen, e2vc is positioning itself not just as an early-stage investor, but as a long-term builder of Türkiye’s next generation of global technology founders.
