Datatruck has secured $12 million in Series A funding, led by Avenue Growth, doubling down on its mission to replace outdated, broker-first transportation management systems with AI-native software designed exclusively for carriers.
For decades, trucking companies have been forced to operate on TMS platforms that were never built for them. While brokers thrived, carriers were left with fragmented data, manual workflows, and profitability insights that arrived weeks too late. Datatruck set out to change that — from the ground up.
Built as an AI-first TMS, Datatruck puts real-time financial visibility at the core of carrier operations. Fleet owners can track profit per load, per truck, and per lane as their business runs — not at month-end. Manual paperwork is replaced by TruckGPT, which processes rate confirmations, BOLs, and PODs in seconds. AI Dispatcher automates load search and booking across multiple load boards, while AI Updater handles routine broker and driver communications 24/7.
The traction is already hard to ignore. More than 1,000 companies run on Datatruck today, with 100,000+ daily users, over $1.7 billion in freight processed, and 300+ successful migrations from legacy systems. Customers report dramatically lower software costs, faster operations, and full visibility into cost per mile — a long-standing blind spot in the industry.
With the fresh capital, Datatruck plans to push even harder on AI development, expand its integration ecosystem across ELDs, fuel cards, factoring, and accounting tools, and accelerate product delivery across dispatch, finance, and back-office workflows. The company will also scale customer onboarding and support to help fleets make the leap from spreadsheets and legacy TMS platforms.
As carriers continue to move the majority of freight across the U.S., Datatruck is betting that the future of logistics belongs to AI-native, carrier-first infrastructure — and this $12M round signals the market agrees.
