Business For Teens Secures Six-Figure Pre-Seed Investment

Business For Teens has closed a six-figure pre-seed funding round, marking an important milestone in its mission to equip teenagers with entrepreneurship and financial literacy skills across Egypt and the Gulf.

The raise follows strong early traction. Since launch, the edtech startup has partnered with more than 10 schools in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, engaging over 600 students aged 10 to 16 through hands-on, project-based entrepreneurship programmes. Beyond classroom learning, Business For Teens has organised multiple student bazaars and exhibitions, where young participants presented real business ideas to hundreds of visitors—transforming theory into practical experience.

The round was led by Salah Abou Elmagd, alongside a group of angel investors. The fresh capital will be deployed to scale operations, enhance programme content, and deepen collaborations with schools and educational institutions.

“Our focus is on giving teenagers a clear path from fundamentals to launching real projects, while building the personal and business skills required in a fast-changing world,” said Nadeem Barakat, Founder of Business For Teens. “This investment allows us to extend our impact to thousands of teens across Egypt and the region and to form strategic partnerships with more schools and institutions.”

Business For Teens’ curriculum is built on more than 12 years of real-world business development experience, translated into interactive learning formats that include startup simulations, educational games, and project-based modules aligned with modern global education standards.

Commenting on the investment, Salah Abou Elmagd described it as the first in a series of planned investments, noting his confidence in the startup’s mission, execution, and the founder’s ability to build a scalable, high-impact education platform.

Looking ahead, Business For Teens plans to roll out three new programme levels in Q1 2026, expand to over 30 school partnerships, and train more than 6,000 students by year-end—positioning the company as a rising player in youth entrepreneurship education across MENA.
