Dubai-based consumer company Amaani, the parent company of Middle Eastern beauty brand AÏZA, has raised $5 million in a Series A funding round to accelerate its expansion across the GCC and beyond.
The round was led by BECO Capital, with participation from Homegrown Ventures and Peak XV’s Surge, bringing Amaani’s total funding raised to $8 million.
Founded in Dubai by Shubham Poddar, Amaani launched AÏZA in December 2024 with the ambition of building a globally competitive beauty brand rooted in the ingredients, rituals and culture of the Arab world.
AÏZA develops skincare and haircare products inspired by regional ingredients including dates, black seed, frankincense, rose and bakhoor. Its formulations are developed with laboratories in Korea, Japan and Italy.
The company has recorded strong growth as it expands from a digital-first model into physical retail. According to Amaani, AÏZA’s net revenue grew by more than 9x year-on-year during the first half of 2026.
The brand is currently available through its own online platform, Ounass and Ulta Beauty in the UAE, where the company says it ranks among the top 10 brands across a selection of more than 300 global and regional brands.
The fresh capital will support AÏZA’s expansion into Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar, as well as further investment in product development, talent and the technology infrastructure supporting the business.
Saudi Arabia will be the priority market for the company’s next phase of growth. AÏZA is preparing to launch with Ulta Beauty at Red Sea Mall in Jeddah and Riyadh Park in Riyadh by the end of September, with Kuwait and Qatar expected to follow in the fourth quarter.
Amaani also integrates technology and AI across areas including customer analytics, creative testing, performance marketing and operational planning, combining a consumer-brand approach with technology-driven operations.
The funding follows Amaani’s previous $3 million seed round, backed by Peak XV’s Surge, and comes as the company looks to establish AÏZA as a beauty brand built in the Middle East with ambitions to scale internationally.
