Saudi Arabia-based B2B autotech startup Autobia has secured $12 million (SAR 45 million) in Series A funding, led by Artal Capital, with participation from Aljazira Capital and Wa’ed Ventures, the venture capital arm of Saudi Aramco.
Founded in 2021 by Emad Daghreri (Co-Founder and CEO) and Ahmed Alawfi (Co-Founder and COO), Autobia is digitizing Saudi Arabia’s automotive spare parts market through a platform that connects retailers and wholesalers with verified suppliers.
The platform integrates procurement, logistics, fulfilment, and embedded financial services, enabling businesses to source spare parts, purchase inventory through flexible payment arrangements, and offer customers installment payment options through licensed payment and buy now, pay later (BNPL) providers.
The fresh capital will support Autobia’s expansion across Saudi Arabia, strengthen its logistics and fulfilment infrastructure, advance its proprietary dynamic pricing technology, and scale its inventory financing solutions.
The investment follows Autobia’s $2.5 million Seed round in 2023, led by Sadu Capital, with participation from Wa’ed Ventures, Raz Holding, Techstars, and angel investors.
By combining B2B commerce, supply chain technology, and embedded finance, Autobia aims to modernize automotive aftermarket operations and improve access to working capital for spare parts businesses across the Kingdom.
