Creators HQ, the UAE and Middle East’s first dedicated hub for content creators, has partnered with Alfan to launch a AED 5 million Social Content Fund, aimed at empowering creators producing family- and society-focused content. The initiative was unveiled during the fourth edition of the 1 Billion Followers Summit, the world’s largest gathering dedicated to shaping the global creator economy.
The partnership agreement was announced at the three-day summit, organized by the UAE Government Media Office and hosted across Emirates Towers, DIFC, and the Museum of the Future in Dubai under the theme “Content for Good.” This year’s edition brought together more than 15,000 content creators and 580 speakers, representing a combined audience of 3.5 billion followers worldwide.
Supporting Purpose-Driven Content
The Social Content Fund is designed to support creators focused on family cohesion, positive social values, and community well-being, funding high-quality content that addresses social challenges while nurturing future generations through meaningful storytelling.
The initiative aligns with the summit’s broader mission to build an integrated digital creativity ecosystem, foster a sustainable knowledge economy, and empower creators to produce content with lasting social impact.
Building an Integrated Creative Ecosystem
Commenting on the launch, Saeed Al Eter, Deputy Minister of Cabinet Affairs for Strategic Projects and Chairman of the UAE Government Media Office, said the fund reflects the summit’s vision of enabling creators with access to advanced technologies, professional training, and production resources.
He noted that the initiative aims not only to fund content, but also to transform creators’ ideas into sustainable creative projects that contribute to awareness, constructive dialogue, and long-term societal impact.

Beyond financial support, the Social Content Fund will provide creators with:
- Education and professional training in content creation and monetization
- Access to state-of-the-art studios and production facilities at Creators HQ

Strengthening the Creator Economy
Mohamad Fattal, Founder and CEO of Alfan, said the partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting content that strengthens family bonds and addresses contemporary social challenges. He emphasized that the initiative provides creators with the tools, expertise, and infrastructure needed to transform creativity into scalable and sustainable digital businesses.
Founded in 2017, Alfan has grown into a leading regional player in the creator economy, serving more than 7,500 monthly active creators and over 50,000 registered users, while working with major brands including HungerStation, Huawei, and Yango.
