Egyptian EdTech platform 3C Coding School has raised $3 million in Seed funding as it prepares to enter Saudi Arabia and accelerate the development of its AI-powered personalised learning platform.
The round was led by MRG Economic Group, with participation from investor Amr Saad and a group of strategic angel investors.
Founded in 2015 by Hossam Hosny and Ahmed Khallaf, 3C Coding School provides technology education for children and young people, with programmes spanning software development, data science, artificial intelligence, machine learning, game development and cybersecurity.
The company has grown its learning ecosystem to more than 120,000 students and reported a 230% increase in revenue, reflecting rising demand for technology-focused education across the region.
Saudi Arabia Becomes the Next Growth Market
A significant part of the new capital will support 3C’s expansion into Saudi Arabia, which will become a key market in the company’s regional growth strategy.
3C plans to develop educational programmes tailored to the Saudi market while working with local partners to expand its student and customer base in the Kingdom.
The expansion represents a broader shift for the company as it looks beyond its Egyptian home market and builds a scalable regional EdTech platform.
Building an AI-Powered Learning Experience
Alongside geographic expansion, 3C is investing in its technology infrastructure and the development of an AI-powered personalised learning platform.
The platform is designed to analyse individual students’ learning patterns and progress, support instructors and dynamically adapt course content according to each learner’s pace and abilities.
By combining AI with its existing project-based learning model, 3C aims to move beyond conventional online education toward a more adaptive and personalised learning experience that can scale across multiple markets.
The company’s approach focuses not only on teaching students how to code, but also on developing logical reasoning, critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
With fresh capital, growing traction and Saudi Arabia positioned as its next major market, 3C is entering a new phase of its journey — with ambitions to build one of the region’s leading technology education platforms and bring future-ready digital skills to millions of young learners.
