Craftgate’s co-founders will retain a majority stake in the company following the investment.
Founded in 2020, Craftgate enables businesses to manage multiple payment service providers and alternative payment methods through a single integration. Its platform offers intelligent payment routing, automatic payment retries, and centralized payment management, helping merchants improve transaction success rates, optimize costs, and simplify operations.
The company serves more than 600 businesses across sectors including retail, tourism, e-commerce, and insurance. According to reported company figures, payment volume processed through the platform reached $10 billion in 2026.
Expanding Internationally and Investing in AI
With Turkven’s backing, Craftgate plans to accelerate product development, strengthen its position in Türkiye, and expand its international presence.
Artificial intelligence will be another strategic priority, with the company developing capabilities to help merchants gain deeper insights from payment data and make more informed operational decisions.
Craftgate Co-Founder and CEO Hakan Erdoğan described the investment as a strong vote of confidence in the company’s technology, team, and growth potential. He emphasized that AI-powered capabilities would play an increasingly important role in the future of payment orchestration.
Barış Seven, a senior executive at Turkven, highlighted Craftgate’s technological expertise, proprietary products, and growth performance as key factors behind the investment decision.
The partnership reflects growing investor interest in payment infrastructure technologies as businesses increasingly seek flexible, efficient, and intelligent solutions for managing complex payment ecosystems.
