Caucasus Ventures has backed three new startups, increasing its total portfolio to 32 companies and further strengthening its footprint across education, design, and deep tech.

Lilitopia is building an edutainment world for kids. The platform operates as a digital learning ecosystem that develops safe, educational, and fun programs for preschoolers in their native language. By combining games, cartoons, songs, books, and interactive activities, Lilitopia transforms everyday learning into an engaging experience, helping children develop creativity, critical thinking, and future-ready skills from an early age.

FROMFOLIO is a transportation design platform that brings together the global design community. Fromfolio.com connects seasoned professionals and emerging talents in one ecosystem, offering mentorship, job opportunities, and extensive portfolios. The platform serves as a hub for inspiration, collaboration, and career growth, enabling designers to showcase their work and engage with a broader international audience.

Caucasus Ventures has also invested in US-based Positron AI, marking the fund’s first SPV (Special Purpose Vehicle) transaction in partnership with 1517 Fund. Positron AI is building next-generation hardware and software appliances for machine learning applications. The company delivers vendor freedom and faster inference by designing systems specifically optimized for generative AI and large language models (LLMs). With lower power consumption and significantly reduced total cost of ownership, Positron enables enterprises and research teams to run open-source LLMs at high token rates and long context lengths. The company is also developing its own ASIC to expand capabilities from inference and fine-tuning into training and broader parallel compute workloads.

Caucasus Ventures has total capital of AZN 11.3 million (USD 6.65 mln). The fund is backed by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency (AZN 5 million), PASHA Holding Group of Companies (AZN 5 million), and individual entrepreneurs (AZN 1.3 million). The General Partner of the fund is Mammad Karim. The fund’s typical investment ticket ranges between $50,000 and $200,000.
